12 alumnos del <a href=\"http:\/\/greystonescollege.ie\/\">Greystones Community College<\/a>, en Irlanda, han sido acogidos gracias al programa <em>Mi casa es tu casa,<\/em> que proporciona experiencias de acogida internacional a las familias del\u00a0<strong>Colegio J. H. Newman<\/strong>. Esta experiencia \u00fanica les ha permitido vivir el d\u00eda a d\u00eda de sus compa\u00f1eros de 4\u00ba de la ESO, compartiendo clases, actividades y costumbres, y adapt\u00e1ndose a un entorno educativo diferente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los estudiantes irlandeses han disfrutado de una rutina similar a la de sus \u00abhermanos\u00bb de acogida. Han asistido a clases, participado en actividades extraescolares y han podido pasar tiempo con sus familias anfitrionas. Durante las tardes, han tenido la oportunidad de conocer m\u00e1s de cerca la vida en familia: desde practicar deportes juntos hasta disfrutar de cenas familiares o el estudio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s de la <strong>experiencia educativa<\/strong>, los estudiantes tambi\u00e9n han podido explorar la capital espa\u00f1ola. Las visitas a lugares emblem\u00e1ticos como el Museo del Prado, el Parque del Retiro, el Museo de Cera y la famosa tradici\u00f3n de comer churros con chocolate han hecho que la semana sea a\u00fan m\u00e1s inmersiva.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En cuanto al aspecto acad\u00e9mico, los estudiantes nos cuentan que los contenidos del <strong>Colegio J. H. Newman<\/strong> les parecen m\u00e1s avanzados que los de su pa\u00eds, especialmente en asignaturas como Matem\u00e1ticas. Tambi\u00e9n han notado una mayor profundizaci\u00f3n en los contenidos de Historia, lo que les ha permitido ampliar su perspectiva sobre temas que ya hab\u00edan estudiado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un aspecto que les ha llamado la atenci\u00f3n a los <strong>estudiantes irlandeses<\/strong> ha sido la relaci\u00f3n con los profesores. A diferencia de la jerarqu\u00eda estricta que existe en su colegio, los estudiantes de <strong>Greystones<\/strong> nos dicen que en el <strong>Colegio J. H. Newman<\/strong> la autoridad es clara, pero tambi\u00e9n se fomenta una relaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s cercana, lo que facilita el di\u00e1logo constante entre alumnos y docentes. Esta interacci\u00f3n fluida contribuye a una din\u00e1mica en el aula m\u00e1s enriquecedora.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otro punto que los <strong>estudiantes<\/strong> apreciaron fue la metodolog\u00eda de ense\u00f1anza en el <strong>Colegio J. H. Newman<\/strong>, que combina diversas modalidades de aprendizaje en una sola sesi\u00f3n: lectura, lecci\u00f3n del profesor, expresi\u00f3n oral, trabajo en grupo y presentaciones con apoyo audiovisual. Los <strong>alumnos irlandeses<\/strong> mencionaron que, en el <a href=\"http:\/\/greystonescollege.ie\/\">Greystones Community College<\/a>, las clases suelen centrarse en una sola herramienta de aprendizaje, lo que, en su opini\u00f3n, dificulta la comprensi\u00f3n de los contenidos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta acogida no solo ha sido una valiosa oportunidad de aprendizaje acad\u00e9mico, sino tambi\u00e9n una <strong>experiencia cultural<\/strong> y personal que ha enriquecido tanto a los alumnos irlandeses como a nuestros alumnos y familias. La distancia entre <strong>Ireland<\/strong> y Espa\u00f1a ahora es m\u00e1s corta. Esperamos verles muy pronto de vuelta por las aulas del <strong>Colegio J. H.
